Overview
Einstein, Niels Bohr, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Victor Frankenstein, some of the greatest minds in the world that pioneered science fit into this sexual avatar category. In my research and reading of Albert Einstein, the great scientists of the last generation faced great persecution from political powers and peril. Despite this, their discoveries have changed the course of human history.
Unbeknownst to popular culture, Einstein was great with women and often had affairs and relations with those closest to him. Other scientists also boast a cult following among academics and geeks. Professors at universities in niche subjects command this type of respect and reverence. In away, their dedication to their craft, and the disciplined practice of science makes them great pioneers and frankly, sex symbols. With faith, it is easy to rely on beliefs and personal opinions. With science, we are held to a much higher standard – that of data and disciplined analysis. Here's a tribute to the great and sexy scientists.
